Job Responsibilities:

  • Processing, packaging, and shipping orders for deliveries/pickups accurately
  • Ensuring that stocks and inventory are well-organized and maintained
  • Report damaged and missing inventory for defects and damages
  • Receiving, sorting, organizing, and arranging inventory items appropriately
  • Ensure inventory labeling follows all NL standards
  • Actively participating and contributing ideas on ways to improve warehousing procedures
  • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
  • Coordinate monthly inventory audits for chemicals and RM
  • Implement health and safety regulations practices in the warehouse
  • Move chemicals and RM into the warehouse/storage area
  • Handle HAZMAT in compliance with state regulations
  • Use necessary tools and accessories to operate in the warehouse

Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience minimum as a warehouse associate; 2+ years preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and report back to the Inventory & Procurement Manager
  • Physical strength to move objects or goods and operate necessary and required machinery efficiently with the ability to lift up more than 40 pounds
  • Adequate knowledge of warehousing procedures
  • Attention to detail and control with the ability to find and extract goods from storage areas and shelves
  • Good endurance skills with the ability to walk for up to eight hours a day and endure long hours of work
  • High School diploma or GED
