Job Responsibilities:

  • Li-ion battery electrode design and manufacturing process development
  • Designing, prototyping and testing Li-ion battery cells including cylindrical cells and pouch cells
  • Will be responsible for taking product from potential customer requirements to customer ready deliverable
  • Will be a key team leader in completing the project, working with interdisciplinary group of engineers to run anode electrode development experiments
  • Prepare R&D project reports and product documentation
  • Data analysis, test set-up, fixturing and running electrochemical tests & experiments

  • Master's degree in Material Science & Engineering preferred, Degree in Chemical /Mechanical /Electrical Engineering also acceptable
  • Ph. D degree in Electrochemistry or Material Science & Engineering preferred
  • At least 5 years+ experience in industry with Li-ion battery cathode or anode and cell R&D designing & manufacturing
  • Comfortable working independently with guidance from the team
  • Experience in handling the manufacturing process is a plus

We offer a total estimated compensation package of $124,800 - $165,620 (comprised of a base salary of $96,000 - $127,400 + up to 30% potential bonus based on meeting divisional and company KPIs which is paid out quarterly.) We offer health, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, 401k, and three weeks of paid time off plus one week for year-end vacation.
