Nanoramic seeks an Inventory Manager to join our Manufacturing team. This position reports to the Vice President of Manufacturing. The Inventory Manager should be someone who is committed to producing high quality, detailed work that is precise and consistent. This role will be given step-by-step training and coaching from both management and peers. The ideal candidate for this role will focus on methodical work output so that job routines can be completed on time and error-free. This position is designed to develop a valued technical expert who can deliver quality work on a consistent basis.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage separation of R&D and MFG materials, including RM and FG. This includes maintaining clear physical separation of inventory, as well as virtual separation in Odoo, our resource management system
  • Ensure that inventory labelling follows all NL standards
  • Ensure materials are kept in the appropriate storage mediums and are logically organized
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure inventory quantities are kept up to date
  • Identify gaps in Nanoramic's inventory management system and implement process changes to address gaps and lead towards standardization
  • Organize and manage PPE, consumables, and packing material inventories
  • Review upcoming purchases and coordinate with project teams to ensure they are executed on time
  • Upload and file documentation in inventory management system in order to maintain proper shipping/receiving history
  • Log shipping information and notify users of shipments to/from Nanoramic
  • Restock Kanban areas as needed
  • Coordinate with Production and Quality Managers to limit/eliminate production interruptions due to inventory bottlenecks
  • Review incoming packages to ensure that all products meet specifications (quality checks)
  • Act as the primary POC for vendors and to manage and execute RFQs and POs (in Odoo)
  • Work with EHS to maintain and manage hazardous material storage, inventory, and deliveries
  • Coordinate with Facilities management regarding receipts of large shipments, equipment, etc.
  • Coordinate with Sales regarding FG shipments, packing lists, and tracking information
  • Act as main POC for foreign and domestic shipping logistics companies in order to address customs issues

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience minimum; 5+ years preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel/MS Office suite
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Job may require lifting up to 40lbs
  • Job may require long periods of standing
