We are looking for an experienced Business Development Director for our Ultracapacitors Division. We are in the process of reorganizing our business to allow our Ultracapacitors division grow faster by addressing niche markets for ultracapacitors.
Nanoramic is an industry-leading energy storage company, spun out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2009 originally as FastCAP Systems. Nanoramic specializes in rapidly commercializing technology from the lab and into industry by using a capital light, IP licensing business model. At its founding, the company was focused on advanced energy storage electrodes for ultracapacitors. From the period 2009-2017, Nanoramic received various US government grants for research to advance energy storage nano-technology. In 2014, the company created the FastCap Ultracapacitors product lines and began to commercialize it's ultracapacitor technology in the oil & gas industry with one of the world's largest oil field service companies as a key customer. In 2016, the company commercialized its ultracapacitor technology for aerospace & defense applications, working with the likes of NASA and Lockheed Martin. In 2017, the company developed chip ultracapacitors as an alternative to tantalum capacitors used widely in solid state storage and internet-of-things devices.
Nanoramic is headquartered in Wakefield, Massachusetts, USA, employs approximately 100 people, and has raised over $90MM to date.
