The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. The job environment is stable, based on known relationships with people and well-defined processes. Job knowledge and competency is built through structured step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from management and peers. Communication with others is based on knowledge of repetitive job routines and procedures gained from sufficient on the job experience. Consistent, error free work based on defined regulations and standards are key measures of job performance success. The job environment promotes steady, methodical work output so that job routines can be completed on time and error-free. This position is designed to develop a valued technical expert, who, recognized and supported by management and a stable work environment, can deliver quality work on a consistent basis


Job duties:

  • Manage office and kitchen inventory
  • Purchasing
  • Calendar Management
  • Assist with conference room maintenance, including troubleshooting with technology
  • Outbound shipping and receiving (must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.)
  • Lab Notebook distribution and scanning
  • Answer phones and transfer to appropriate employees
  • Greet visitors and facilitate sign-in at front desk
  • Other administrative tasks and special projects, as needed
  • Booking travel
  • IT inventory management and ordering
  • Facilitate with our outsourced IT company to troubleshoot issues when needed
  • Be a member of the Safety Committee

Qualifications:

  • A willingness to dive into projects with enthusiasm, even if they are not squarely within your job description.
  • No specific education level is required - but great communication and writing skills are necessary. Some office experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of administrative experience
  • Volume of activity will vary. Very detail oriented. Tasks must be completed quickly and correctly. More of a service-oriented, people orientation rather than an analytical or technical orientation
  • Communication should be friendly, pleasant, and tactful.


We offer a total estimated compensation package of up to $45,890 - $ 57,330 (comprised of a base salary of $35,300 - $44,100 + up to 30% potential bonus based on meeting divisional and company KPIs which is paid out quarterly.) We offer health, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, 401k, and three weeks of paid time off plus one week for year-end vacation
