An ideal candidate for the People & Operations Assistant position has a self-starter mentality and enjoys varied tasks. Strong time management and the ability to balance multiple priorities is also an advantage. For this role, you should be able to work autonomously and assist in more complex People Operations duties, such as posting job ads, organizing employee files, and assisting in Onboarding meetings.
The job also requires interaction with a wide variety of people in a team environment. Reflecting the company in a positive and professional manner within established organizational and team relationships are critical to job success. A natural empathy and authentic interest in other peoples' needs and concerns requires an amicable, stimulating and motivating communication style and is the foundation for communicating information and providing services in an positive and supportive manner. There is regular feedback to support continuous on-the-job learning and there is positive recognition for successful job performance. Effectively teaching and communicating company history, traditions, policies, procedures and programs in an enthusiastic and supportive manner is necessary.
Ultimately, you should be able to work with other People Operations team members to ensure the team is organized and operates to attract, hire and maintain our employees.
Assist with daily operations & administrative tasks
Assist in sourcing candidates for our hiring database
Provide training & process clarification for employees
Compile and update employee records
Ensure process documentation is clear and up-to-date
Initiate operations projects as required
Experience as an HR Assistant a plus
Familiar with MS Office
Great organizational skills
