As a People & Operations Assistant, you will be assigned to two teams to help increase their efficiency. Recruiting, onboarding and training of new members within your assigned teams will also be key responsibilities. The POA's focus is on providing structure and rituals in line with company culture and removing blockers from within their teams. This is an entry-level support role housed within the People and Operations Department.
The focus of this job is on the development and application of specialized expertise based on established organizational standards, policies and procedures. Job performance standards for quality, accuracy and timeliness of work are clearly defined. Careful attention to details and follow up is essential.
The job also requires interaction with a wide variety of people in a team environment. Reflecting the company in a positive and professional manner within established organizational and team relationships are critical to job success. A natural empathy and authentic interest in other peoples' needs and concerns requires an amicable, stimulating and motivating communication style and is the foundation for communicating information and providing services in an positive and supportive manner.
Management provides initial and ongoing training and development opportunities to assure that both the technical and communication aspects of this job can be successfully performed. There is regular feedback to support continuous on-the-job learning and there is positive recognition for successful job performance.
Because of the detailed nature of the job and the importance of carefully following established procedures, the job environment is structured to assure steady, accurate work output. With adequate training, development and job experience, the scope of the job will include training of individuals and teams. Effectively teaching and communicating company history, traditions, policies, procedures and programs in an enthusiastic and supportive manner is necessary.
We offer a total estimated compensation package of up to $58,500 - $ 65,000 (comprised of a base salary of $45,000-$50,000 + up to 30% potential bonus based on meeting divisional and company KPIs which is paid out quarterly.) We offer health, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, 401k, and three weeks of paid time off plus one week for year-end vacation.
