Job Overview

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the advanced anode electrode and electrolyte design and manufacturing process development
  • Identify strengths of existing technology, and add value to them
  • Introduce new materials/processes that are well aligned with company's existing technology
  • Designing, prototyping and testing Li-ion battery cells, including cylindrical cells and pouch cells
  • Will be responsible for taking product from potential customer requirements to customer-ready deliverable
  • Will be a key team leader in completing the project, working with interdisciplinary group of engineers to run anode electrode development experiments
  • Prepare R&D project reports and product documentation
  • Constantly communicating with internal teams and external partners

Required Experience:

  • Greater than 5 years in li-ion battery industry experience absolutely necessary
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or Materials Science or Chemical Engineering (preferred)

We offer an estimated total compensation package of $142,800 - $193,000 (base salary plus 30% bonus potential paid quarterly based on divisional and company KPIs.) We offer health, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, 401k, and three weeks of paid time off plus one week for year-end vacation. We offer relocation packages for this position.
